The joint force of the armed resistance movements described the threats made by the rebellious Rapid Support Forces (RSF) regarding the evacuation of El Fasher as a desperate attempt. They also described the statement issued by the RSF spokesperson, giving the forces a 48-hour ultimatum to evacuate the city, as “surreal and fictitious.” They confirmed that “the threats of the militia will not scare us, and they will not deter us from continuing the struggle until every inch of Sudan is liberated from the clutches of agents and mercenaries.”
The joint force added that “the militia leaders have become detached from the reality of Sudan after their flight from the country and their failure and inability on the ground to make any progress for over a year.”
In a statement, the official spokesperson for the joint forces, Major Ahmed Hussein Mustafa, said that the militia “launched more than 170 armed attacks on El Fasher, all of which were crushed, and their hardened forces were eliminated, leaving them defeated in front of our brave forces and the will of the resilient people of the city.” He added that despite the threats previously issued by the militia leaders, El Fasher has now become their final stop.
Hussein revealed that over 15,000 Janjaweed soldiers had been lost in El Fasher over the past year. He also pointed out that the UAE had mobilized all its resources to control El Fasher, providing the militia with the latest weapons, military experts, regional mercenaries from Africa, South America, and Eastern Europe, as well as drones, advanced weapons, and heavy artillery. Despite this, they failed to break the will of the Sudanese and their forces.
He further stated, “El Fasher is the first African city where over 300 Colombian mercenaries have died on its soil,” noting that as a result of attrition, the militia is now facing a shortage of soldiers in all fronts, in addition to the desertion of its troops from the fronts following their defeat in Sennar, Al-Jazeera, Khartoum North, Wadi Hour, and even at the Blue Base. Their most recent defeat was at Badri Sheiki in North Darfur yesterday, where a convoy led by the fleeing Abdel Rahim Dagalo, consisting of more than 600 military vehicles supported by Emirati weapons and foreign mercenaries, was destroyed. Hussein highlighted that the UAE had been preparing this convoy in eastern Libya for over a year, but our forces defeated them, and the entire convoy was destroyed.
The spokesperson for the joint forces noted that after their field defeats, the militia has resorted to deliberate shelling from a distance of 40 km, targeting innocent women and children in the Zamzam and Nivasha camps and residential areas.
Hussein called on the international community and human rights organizations to bear their responsibilities regarding the continuous crimes committed by the militia. He confirmed that the joint forces and the armed forces are on high alert to confront any new attempt to approach the city, and will face the enemy with strength and decisiveness without mercy.
He emphasized that El Fasher will remain resistant to invaders, and every inch of Darfur and Sudan will become a graveyard for the mercenaries of Bin Zayed and anyone who dares to harm Sudan’s security and unity, reiterating their determination to continue the liberation battle until the Janjaweed militia is completely eradicated from the country.
