A member of the Sovereign Council and Chairman of the Sudan Liberation Movement, Salah Adam Rassas, confirmed that there is a well-organized plan for the army, other regular forces, joint forces, and resistance fighters to liberate the country and eliminate the Rapid Support Forces militia, adding that the militia is breathing its last.
Rassas stated to the Sudan News Agency that the government is extending a hand of peace to restore the rights of the Sudanese people without bringing the Rapid Support Forces back into the political scene.
He stressed the importance of political action with the agreement of all Sudanese people at the “Sudanese-Sudanese” dialogue table.
The Sovereign Council member revealed that amendments are being made to the articles of the constitutional document and that they will be presented to the Sudanese people soon after their completion.
