The Joint Forces of the Armed Struggle Movements announced that, alongside the armed forces and mobilized citizens, they managed to eliminate over 400 mercenaries from the Rapid Support Forces militia, destroy more than 30 military vehicles of various types, and seize 25 intact military vehicles equipped with advanced weapons and equipment during battles that took place on Friday in El Fasher.
The Joint Forces expressed gratitude to the UAE for this “valuable gift,” which will contribute to enhancing their defensive capabilities.
In a statement, the Joint Forces said that at 6:00 AM on Friday, the Janjaweed terrorist militia launched a failed and desperate attack to breach El Fasher city from five different axes, accompanied by intensive artillery shelling targeting densely populated residential areas, health centers, shelters, and displaced persons’ camps.
They added: “As usual, and in a new heroic epic, our heroes in the Joint Forces, the Sudanese Armed Forces, North Darfur State Police, the People’s Defense Force (Qushn), the Popular Resistance, Miaram El Fasher, the General Intelligence and Security Service, the Central Reserve Forces, and the mobilized citizens of El Fasher valiantly confronted this terrorist attack and inflicted a crushing defeat on the terrorist militia of Mohamed bin Zayed and its foreign mercenaries.
