Deputy Chairman of the Sovereignty Council Malik Agar inspected the progress of work at the Port Sudan transformer station on Monday, accompanied by Minister of Energy Dr. Mahieddin Al-Naeem, Yasir Al-Shadhli, Director General of the Electricity Transmission Company, and Dr. Madawi Moussa, Director General of Generation.
Agar stated that the visit is part of his commitment to inspecting strategic service sites and aligns with the state’s general plan to enhance and restore basic services. This follows the armed forces’ victories over the rebellious militia in the Battle of Dignity, necessitating the strengthening of essential services to encourage the voluntary return of citizens.
He pledged to continue monitoring essential services until the country regains its stability, and citizens return to their normal lives as they were before April 15, 2023.
