Sudan Events – Reports
The Sudan Liberation Army Movement has condemned the massacre in the village of “Burosh,” located in Umm Kaddadah locality, North Darfur State, perpetrated by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia on Sunday. This brutal attack targeted civilians and resulted in the deaths of over 100 innocent people, including women and children. The militia also caused widespread destruction in the village, using heavy weaponry, forcing the remaining residents to flee from their criminal brutality.
In a statement issued by the movement’s spokesperson, Al-Sadiq Ali Al-Nour, it emphasized the continued moral and ethical collapse of the militia. The statement highlighted that the RSF documented their crime themselves and publicly shared it through widely circulated videos on media platforms.
The movement called on the international and humanitarian community to reassess their dealings with the militia and its political and armed allies by immediately banning all interactions with them. It also urged the United Nations, the Security Council, the European Union, and human rights organizations to designate the militia as a terrorist group, asserting that no act of terrorism exceeds what they have committed. Additionally, it warned regional states providing any form of support, such as drones, jamming devices, long-range missiles, or other weaponry, that sheltering the militia’s leaders is a crime against the Sudanese people.
