Fire Breaks Out in Plane at South Korean Airport with No Injuries
A fire broke out on a Busan Air flight headed for Hong Kong at Gimhae International Airport in South Korea late on Tuesday night.
According to local media, around 10:30 PM on Tuesday, a fire broke out in the tail of the Busan Air plane as it was preparing to take off from the main runway at Gimhae International Airport.
All 176 passengers and crew members were evacuated, and no injuries were reported, according to authorities.
Firefighting teams are currently working to fully extinguish the fire, deploying as much manpower and equipment as possible.
Yonhap News Agency, quoting South Korean authorities, reported that firefighting forces were dispatched to control the fire, which spread across the body of the plane.
