Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Yusuf stated that continuous consultation with Egypt is important, especially as both countries are facing major issues and conspiracies.
During a press conference with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aty on Sunday, he mentioned that Sudan aims to cooperate with Egypt to safeguard the interests of both countries and their peoples.
He pointed out that their meeting was positive as usual, covering various issues, and they reached a comprehensive agreement on the necessary steps to be taken as part of coordination between the two countries.
He also mentioned that he informed the Egyptian Foreign Minister about the developments of the Battle of Dignity in Sudan, highlighting the major victories achieved by the Sudanese army in its efforts to restore the country, which has been subjected to a conspiracy. He confirmed that the army is on the verge of bringing an end to this war, aiming for Sudan to return to its previous state or even better.
He noted that there is full coordination and agreement with Egypt on various issues, expressing his confidence that the coming period will witness significant consultations on important matters such as Nile water and cooperation in the water sector.
