Theaters of Operations: The Army Advances and the Militia Breathes Its Last

Sudan Events – Agencies
As the armed forces continue to make significant progress and achieve major victories over the Rapid Support Forces militia, which still engages in killing and mistreatment of citizens with every defeat it suffers, its end seems imminent. The army has liberated many areas in the states of Al-Jazeera, White Nile, Khartoum, and North Kordofan.
Al-Fasher Continues to Resist:
The Sixth Infantry Division revealed additional statistics on the losses suffered by the Rapid Support Forces militia from the armed forces and joint forces following their attack on Al-Fasher city the day before yesterday. The additional losses included the destruction of 12 combat vehicles, two T-72 tanks, and a BTR armored vehicle.
The Sixth Division added that the militia suffered further losses yesterday, including the destruction of 10 combat vehicles and the seizure of three others in good condition with all their equipment. A large number of militia members were killed or wounded, and the militia is currently facing severe internal conflicts, in addition to ongoing desertions and a collapse in their morale.
Victims of Militia Shelling:
The Sixth Division confirmed that the Air Force continues to fly over Al-Fasher city, achieving one success after another. The airstrikes on militia targets and gatherings will continue. A briefing from the Sixth Division revealed the statistics of civilians killed in militia shelling, which amounted to 67 victims—30 women, 17 children, and 20 men. This massacre is the tenth of its kind carried out by the militia in Al-Fasher.
The Sixth Division also revealed the arrest of ten collaborators as part of a campaign launched by the special operations, security, police, and joint forces to cleanse the city of traitors.
Inspection of Liberated Areas:
In the Al-Jazeera axis, the appointed governor of Al-Jazeera, Taher Ibrahim Al-Khair, along with the state’s security committee, visited the East Al-Jazeera and Hasaheisa localities after their liberation from the insurgents. The governor congratulated the armed forces, other regular forces, and the mobilized forces for their major victories.
The governor stated that the next visit would be to Khartoum State to congratulate it on its liberation. He pledged to rebuild what the war had destroyed and distribute humanitarian aid, stressing the importance of enforcing the law and justice on collaborators.
For his part, Major General Abdel-Moneim Abdel-Basit praised the patience of the displaced citizens and the insurgent practices. He confirmed that the liberated areas have been secured, and that the victories came thanks to the sacrifices and steadfastness of the men, along with the people’s support for their armed forces. He also promised the people of Sudan that they would celebrate Ramadan in their homes.
