NBC News reported on Wednesday, citing two U.S. officials, that the U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) is working on plans to withdraw all American forces from Syria.

The report added that President Donald Trump and officials close to him have recently expressed interest in withdrawing U.S. forces from Syria, prompting Pentagon officials to begin drafting plans for a complete withdrawal within 30, 60, or 90 days.
