Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti praised his team’s young players for their good performance and making the difference in a hard-fought 3-2 win over Leganes in the last moments of the King’s Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday despite playing the match with a substitute squad.

Ancelotti rested a number of key players ahead of Saturday’s top-of-the-table La Liga clash against Atletico Madrid, followed by next week’s Champions League clash with Manchester City.
