“Geological Research” Discusses Activation of MoU with “Zadna”

The General Authority for Geological Research held discussions with Zadna Company on activating the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between them.

A lengthy meeting was held between the Head of Productive Projects at the Authority, Consultant Geologist Radwan Ahmed Mohamed, accompanied by Geologist Mohamed Abdelrahman Hamad, Director of the Authority’s Nile River State branch office, and Dr. Ahmed Mudawi Ezzeldin, Director of Administrative Affairs and Services, with Professor Hashem Ali Salem, Director of the Mining Sector at Zadna, in the presence of Lt. Gen. Dr. Abu Bakr Abdullah Adam.

The meeting agreed to commence work under a partnership system in industrial minerals, enabling both sides to contribute to localizing industries and preparing for the post-war reconstruction phase by focusing on raw materials.

Both parties also agreed to develop a model for brick manufacturing in the states of Khartoum, Gezira, and Nile River, as well as to utilize other raw materials such as talc, gypsum, pozzolana, and kaolin.
