
A humanitarian aid shipment from Pakistan, consisting of 88 tons of food, medicine, and sanitation equipment, has arrived at the Port of Sudan as the first batch of aid sent to the Sudanese people.
On Sunday, the General Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid, Salwa Adam Binyia, welcomed the visiting Pakistani humanitarian delegation at her office. The delegation included Dr. Hafeez Rahman, the head of the Pakistani Relief Organization, and Marshal Arshad Malik, the vice president of the organization, alongside the Pakistani Ambassador to Sudan, Ethiopia, and Gabon, Aatif Sharif.
The General Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the visiting Pakistani delegation. She emphasized the strong and enduring relations between the two countries and thanked the Government and people of Pakistan for their support to the Sudanese people and institutions.
