Opening of a New Window for the Savings Bank Led by the Police

The Minister of Information for the Blue Nile region, Abdul Ghani Daqis, inaugurated a banking window for the Savings and Social Development Bank at the Police Headquarters in Damazin.

The minister praised the significant role the Savings Bank has played in providing financial support for development projects through microfinance. He stated that the opening of this window was a tribute to the security forces and encouraged their members to deposit money into the banking system.

In turn, the Director of Investment and Finance, representing the General Manager of the bank, Awad Allah Babiker Al-Bashir, confirmed the bank’s readiness to provide funding for police projects in various sectors. He added that the bank’s products are perfectly suited to the income levels of police personnel, serving this important segment of society. He also mentioned that the bank offers a comprehensive range of banking services in the field of microfinance.

For his part, Brigadier General Nasr al-Din Muhammad Abdul-Aalim, Director of Blue Nile Region Police, pledged to help develop the window into a full branch offering all banking services, announcing that the window would provide services to all security forces in the region. He also expressed their goal of ensuring all police personnel have bank accounts.

Meanwhile, the Director of the Damazin Branch, Muhammad Doka Ibrahim, noted that the opening of the banking window at the police headquarters, under the slogan “Continuous Service and Financing Project for Every Policeman,” represents an important step towards financial inclusion. He assured the readiness of the bank to provide funding for all projects submitted by the police.
