Arrival of Cooking Gas Cylinders in Wad Madani

The General Administration of Petroleum in Al-Jazira State announced the arrival of 1,000 cooking gas cylinders supplied by Al-Tarifi Company, priced at over SDG 51,000 per cylinder. Of these, 600 cylinders will be distributed in Wad Madani on Sunday, while 400 cylinders will be allocated to the Um Al-Qura locality.

Director of the Petroleum Administration, Hassan Suleiman, also announced the availability of 700 additional gas cylinders from Bashair Company at a price of SDG 105,000 per cylinder. Furthermore, 2,000 gas cylinders will be supplied from the Managil warehouse to Wad Madani, with 600 cylinders expected to arrive in the next two days for distribution through the Greater Wad Madani Locality.

Suleiman noted ongoing coordination with bakery owners to ensure gas supply, following the completion of maintenance work on the mobile distribution vehicle. He also mentioned current arrangements to secure gas supplies for the Um Al-Qura and South Al-Jazira localities from Port Sudan.

The Director of the Petroleum Administration reaffirmed ongoing efforts to meet the needs of citizens across all localities in the state, in accordance with directives from the state’s Economic Emergency Committee. These efforts aim to facilitate the availability of essential goods, ensure smooth supply chains, keep fuel stations operational, and provide adequate cooking gas supplies.
