Liverpool Overcomes Wolverhampton as Salah Sets a New Record

Liverpool successfully overcame Wolverhampton with a 2-1 victory in their match on Sunday at Anfield, as part of the 25th round of the English Premier League.

The Reds took the lead with goals from Luis Díaz and Mohamed Salah in the 15th and 37th minutes, while Matheus Cunha scored for Wolves in the 67th minute.

With this win, Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the table to 60 points, widening the gap with Arsenal to seven points. Meanwhile, Wolverhampton remains at 19 points in 17th place.

Salah increased his goal tally to 23, securing his position as the league’s top scorer, four goals ahead of Erling Haaland.

According to the statistics network “Squawka,” Salah has now reached 101 Premier League goals at Anfield.

Additionally, Salah has become the joint-highest penalty scorer in Liverpool’s Premier League history, equaling Steven Gerrard with 32 goals from the spot.
