Rise in Crop Prices Through Bank Transfers

The director of the auction at Al-Nuhud Crop Exchange, Radi Ali Baraka, confirmed that the price of a ton of shelled peanuts has reached 800,000 SDG in cash and 840,000 SDG through electronic payment.

He added that the price of a quintal of unshelled peanuts was 25,000 SDG in cash and 25,500 SDG via electronic payment.

As for gum arabic, its price stood at 195,000 SDG in cash and 215,000 SDG for electronic transactions.

Sesame prices remained stable at 55,000 SDG in cash and 60,000 SDG through electronic payment.

He also noted that hibiscus (karkadeh) remained at 45,000 SDG in cash and 50,000 SDG via electronic payment, while watermelon seeds maintained stability between 40,000 and 45,000 SDG in cash.
