The artillery of the 6th Infantry Division in El Fasher destroyed 7 combat vehicles belonging to the rebel Rapid Support Forces militia. The shelling also neutralized two other vehicles to the northwest of El Fasher, causing a large number of militia members to flee.
The 6th Division, in its press release, explained that the routine combing patrols carried out by the Special Operations Forces and the General Intelligence Service within the neighborhoods resulted in the seizure of an enemy ammunition store, which had been hidden inside some buildings in the southeast of the city.
The 6th Infantry Division confirmed that the waves of fleeing militia members continue due to the significant morale collapse among their ranks, caused by the heavy losses they have sustained and are still incurring in North Darfur. The division also reiterated that the Armed Forces, in collaboration with the joint forces of the revolutionary movements and their supporting forces, are working around the clock with full vigilance, supported by precise intelligence efforts to monitor enemy movements inside and outside the Darfur region, especially in the city of El Fasher.
The 6th Infantry Division also mentioned that the defenses of the Armed Forces had achieved a new success by downing an enemy drone that was flying toward defensive positions. The drone was neutralized successfully without any losses. The militia had made a desperate attempt by sending a swarm of suicide drones to attack the neighborhoods of El Fasher. However, due to the vigilance of the defenses and the grace of God, the drones failed to achieve their objectives. It was revealed that the drones crashed into buildings without causing any damage to the forces or vital sites.
In addition, the enemy launched a bombardment of the southern neighborhoods with 40 artillery shells of 120mm, which resulted in deep injuries to a family of four members. They were transferred to a health center for treatment.
