Sudan has emphasized the need for continued positive engagements with Britain to enhance mutual understanding on issues of common interest.
Sudanese Minister of Culture and Information, and official government spokesperson, Khalid Al-Eisair, stated on his official X page:
“I met with Harriet Matthews, Director General for Africa at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, and Richard Crowder, the UK’s Special Envoy to Sudan.”
He added:
“During the meeting, we discussed Britain’s interest in the situation in Sudan and its desire to consult with the Sudanese government on various related issues.”
Al-Eisair further said:
“We hope that these positive engagements will continue to strengthen the necessary understanding on matters of shared interest.”
