Sudan Events – Follow-ups
The United States expressed its concern over the signing of a “transitional constitution” for Sudan by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), political forces, and armed movements in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of African Affairs stated on its X platform account that attempts to establish a parallel government in Sudan do not contribute to achieving peace and security, and threaten to cause further instability and the actual division of the country.
