Government: Sudan’s Complaint Against the UAE Is Backed by Solid Evidence

Sudan Events – Reports

Sudan’s Minister of Culture and Information and official government spokesperson, Khalid Ali Al-Iyasir, stated that the Abu Dhabi government has consistently denied involvement in the killing of the Sudanese people, despite Sudan’s possession of substantial evidence. This evidence, he said, is supported by decisions from the U.S. government, which has imposed sanctions on companies based in Abu Dhabi that provide cover and logistical support to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia—responsible for genocide and crimes against humanity.

Al-Iyasir added, “Recently, the Abu Dhabi government has tried to distance itself from responsibility by accusing the Sudanese government of being behind a weapons shipment allegedly intended for the Sudanese Armed Forces. This is a clear attempt to deflect attention from its role in supporting the terrorist crimes committed by the militia against the Sudanese people.”

He stated that the Sudanese government gives no weight to these fabricated allegations and is confident that the UAE is using its official and private media to obstruct Sudan’s complaint to the International Court of Justice. He emphasized that the complaint is based on irrefutable evidence, including flight records of Abu Dhabi aircraft transporting weapons, equipment, and strategic drones in support of the RSF militia.

He concluded, “Sudan’s case is just, and the country is determined to protect the rights of its people. No amount of misinformation will hide the truth about the crimes for which the Abu Dhabi government bears responsibility. Sudan will continue to pursue legal and moral accountability for all those who committed crimes against the Sudanese people and contributed to the destruction of the nation’s infrastructure and vital facilities.”
