Brigadier General Nabil Abdullah, the official spokesperson for the Sudanese Armed Forces, stated in a press release on Sunday that claims accusing the Sudanese army of killing civilians in the Al-Hammadi area in South Kordofan State are “false and ridiculous.” He asserted that these accusations are being promoted by the Al-Dagalo militia and their political wing. Throughout this war, the armed forces have consistently protected Sudanese citizens and saved them from the brutality and violations committed by this militia, whose unprecedented crimes in the history of warfare are well known. He added that the testimony of citizens who welcome the army with joy and relief in every area it liberates from these criminals is evidence enough.
