Central Police Information Unit Resumes Operations from Khartoum

The Central Information Unit of the Sudanese Police Force has completed its relocation and resumed operations from its headquarters in Khartoum, after the facility was previously looted, destroyed, and ransacked by the terrorist rebel militia. The move is part of the transition plan for all police bodies and general departments.

In a statement to the Police Press Office, Major General Ahmed Abdel Latif Saleh, Director of the Information Unit, confirmed that the security and criminal situation remains calm across all states, according to daily reports. He added that the police continue to provide services to citizens with efficiency and professionalism, despite the exceptional circumstances in several states.

Major General Abdel Latif also stated that the police force has strengthened its capabilities through a package of administrative measures, including the provision of vehicles, communication equipment, and specialized personnel to implement security plans. Additionally, efforts have been made to upgrade the infrastructure of criminal divisions and general and specialized departments to ensure the continued delivery of public services.
