The United States has condemned the shelling carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia on warehouses belonging to the World Food Programme (WFP) in the city of El Fasher, North Darfur State.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of African Affairs stated:
“We call for an end to the indiscriminate shelling in civilian areas and reiterate the need to protect civilians and ensure full, safe, and unhindered humanitarian access.”
