Al-Burhan: The War Will End with a Strong and Unified Sudan

The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, stated that the battle continues and will only end with the elimination of the terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. He affirmed that the war will conclude with a strong and unified Sudan.

During his speech on Saturday at the graduation ceremony of the 21st Intelligence and Security Qualification Course, Al-Burhan praised the growing role of the General Intelligence Service in preserving Sudan’s unity, stability, and security, and in confronting all security threats facing Sudan. He added that the “Battle of Dignity” proved that the Armed Forces and the General Intelligence Service are the safety valve of Sudan.

Al-Burhan confirmed that the Armed Forces work with utmost patriotism and dedication to maintain Sudan’s unity and security. He expressed deep appreciation for all joint and supporting forces that fought alongside the Armed Forces in the “Battle of Dignity and Pride” against the terrorist Al-Dagalo militia, defending Sudan and its security.

He stated that the government is continuing to implement the roadmap and fulfill the requirements of the transitional period. He emphasized that the security and military apparatus operates as one to preserve Sudan’s unity, defeat rebellion, and address the grievances suffered by the Sudanese people due to violations by the Al-Dagalo militia. He noted that the Intelligence Service has made many sacrifices for the country.

Al-Burhan described the graduation of this batch as a true addition to the country’s security apparatus, stating that the service has always worked professionally, patriotically, and with dedication. He added, “We all work for unity and building a strong Sudan, preparing for the post-war phase, avoiding repetition of past mistakes, and resisting slogans that have destroyed Sudan.” He concluded by saying, “We all strive to preserve the country’s gains and unity, steering clear of tribalism, regionalism, and political and partisan agendas.”
