Mufaddal: “The Intelligence Service Is at the Disposal of the Nation and Its Citizens”

The Director General of the General Intelligence Service, General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, emphasized that the Intelligence Service will remain under the leadership of the state and fully committed to defending the dignity of the nation and its people, even at the cost of lives and sacrifices.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony of the 21st Security and Intelligence Qualification Course, Mufaddal stated: “The General Intelligence Service operates professionally across all aspects of security and intelligence work, firmly holding on to national security priorities.” He noted that the service will continue to support various state institutions in protecting the country’s supreme interests.

The Director of Intelligence added that throughout history, the armed forces—through their specialized colleges and institutes—have shaped men and produced heroes.

He also praised the sacrifices and efforts of the service’s personnel in the battle for dignity and commended the high level of the graduating batch, which received advanced and specialized training in military and security fields. He affirmed that this new cohort represents a qualitative addition that will enhance the agency’s capabilities and contribute to safeguarding Sudan’s national security.
