Ethiopian Intelligence Chief: We Will Spare No Effort in Supporting Peace in Sudan

Ethiopian Intelligence Chief Redwan Hussein arrived in the city of Port Sudan on Monday.

He was received at the airport by the Director General of Sudan’s General Intelligence Service, General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.

During his visit, Redwan delivered a written message from Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed to General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan regarding bilateral relations between the two countries. He affirmed that Ethiopia will continue its unwavering support for efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability in Sudan.

In a tweet cited by the news website Al-Muhaqiq, Redwan stated that he held talks with his Sudanese counterpart, General Mufaddal, at Port Sudan Airport, and reiterated that he came carrying a message from the Ethiopian Prime Minister to General Al-Burhan.

He expressed gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality, stressing that Ethiopia will spare no effort in helping to establish peace in Sudan and the broader region.
