The Sudan Electricity Company announced the return of electricity to large parts of Al-Jazira State, Khartoum Bahri, and East Nile.
In a press statement, the company said that the operation of the vital Al-Jumhouya line in Omdurman — the first phase of which has been completed — will play a key role in stabilizing electricity supply throughout Sudan.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to restoring electricity services despite the extensive damage to its core infrastructure.
