Reliable sources told Asharq that Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris is currently consulting on a plan to reduce the number of ministries from 26 to 16.
Idris had announced the dissolution of the previous government immediately after taking the oath and assuming office as Prime Minister.
The new cabinet is expected to be announced in the coming days.
