Reliable sources within the “Ta’sis” (Establishment) alliance revealed that disagreements have led to a suspension of consultations regarding the formation of a “parallel government.”
Sources within “Ta’sis” told Asharq that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) insisted on holding the position of Governor of the Darfur Region in the parallel government.
The sources also disclosed disagreements following the RSF’s nomination of Hudhaifa Abu Noba for the position of Prime Minister in the parallel government.
The sources added, “After disputes, the RSF conceded some shares in the formation of the parallel government to the Darfur movements.”
