The Humanitarian Aid Commission of Northern State announced the arrival of 335 displaced people from the border triangle area to the city of Dongola, following the Rapid Support Forces’ (RSF) control of the region.
According to Commissioner Abdelrahman Khairi, those who arrived in Dongola included foreigners from South Sudan and Ethiopia who had been working in mining and trade in the triangle area.
He accused the RSF of looting their properties and money and added that the displaced would be relocated to other states, while foreign nationals would be returned to their countries, according to the commission’s media office.
