On Sunday, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia suffered another crushing defeat in the city of Al-Fashir.
The Joint Forces announced a new victory for the Armed Forces, the Joint Forces, Popular Resistance, and mobilized groups in the 214th battle in Al-Fashir, against what they described as a “brutal” attack launched by the RSF militia and its allies.
The Joint Forces stated in a statement that in the early hours of Sunday, the RSF militia’s so-called “Strategic Battalion” attempted to storm the city from the eastern and northeastern fronts, claiming that their forces were highly trained under the instructions of their second-in-command. However, the bravery and valor of our Armed Forces, Joint Forces, Popular Resistance, and mobilized groups turned the enemy’s ambitions into a humiliating defeat.
The statement added that thanks to meticulous military planning, our forces executed a well-coordinated ambush that resulted in the destruction of six Emirati SarSar armored vehicles with their full crews, destruction of ten combat vehicles along with their entire personnel, in addition to killing and scattering dozens of militia members and pursuing the fleeing fighters to the outskirts of the city.
The statement confirmed that this battle proves that victory is not made by wishes or false propaganda but through courage and belief in a just cause. It emphasized that Al-Fashir will remain steadfast like “Stalingrad,” resistant to conspirators and invaders. The statement concluded, “Our message to the RSF militia and its allies is that Al-Fashir will not fall, our people will not kneel, and we will continue defending our land and honor until achieving final victory.”
