The Federal Ministry of Health has continued its cholera vaccination campaign in Khartoum State, which reached its eighth day on Tuesday and will continue until Thursday.
A meeting of the Federal Campaign Task Force revealed that 1,679,437 individuals aged one year and above have been vaccinated, considering it an important step toward protecting the community from the epidemic.
The ministry urged citizens to ensure they receive the vaccine before the end of the campaign, with only two days remaining. It confirmed that the vaccine is available at health centers, in addition to mobile and temporary teams roaming neighborhoods to ensure all targeted groups are reached.
