On Tuesday, Prime Minister Kamil El-Tayeb Idris issued a decree appointing Lt. Gen. Hassan Daoud Kabroun Kayan as Minister of Defense. The same decree also appointed Lt. Gen. Babiker Samra Mustafa Ali as Minister of Interior.
The decree instructed the Ministries of Defense and Interior, as well as other concerned bodies, to take the necessary steps to implement the decision.
