
Three members of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia were killed and several others injured following an airstrike by a Sudanese army drone in the “Al-Sissi” area, southeast of El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur State.
Sources told Darfur24 that a drone hovered for more than an hour over the main road connecting Central and West Darfur states before launching four missiles at RSF forces positioned along both sides of the road.
The sources indicated that the strike resulted in the death of three RSF militia members and left others wounded, some in critical condition. Two military vehicles were also destroyed.
According to the sources, some of the wounded were transported to hospitals in El Geneina.
