
Ambassador Ilham Ibrahim Mohammed Ahmed presented her credentials to Polish President Andrzej Duda as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to the Republic of Poland, residing in Berlin.
The ambassador conveyed greetings and well-wishes from Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, to the Polish president, along with Sudan’s aspiration to strengthen cooperation between the two friendly nations across all fields.
For his part, President Duda welcomed Ambassador Ilham and expressed his country’s readiness to provide all necessary support for her mission. He affirmed Poland’s willingness to broaden cooperation in various sectors and extended his best wishes to President Al-Burhan and to Sudan for peace and stability.
It is noteworthy that Sudan and Poland enjoy longstanding relations and ongoing cooperation, particularly in the areas of archaeology, agriculture, and cultural exchange.
