
Khartoum State Governor Ahmed Othman Hamza praised the efforts of various electricity departments in rehabilitating transformer stations and transmission lines, efforts that are expected to reduce power outages starting Tuesday.
During a visit to the transformer stations, accompanied by the Director General of the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Tourism, Tayeb Saad Al-Din, and the Executive Director of Karari locality, Ahmed Mustafa Ali, the governor stated that this step will contribute to stabilizing water and health services and ease the suffering of citizens. He called on the electricity administration to double its efforts to supply electricity to areas in Khartoum, Bahri, and East Nile.
Meanwhile, engineers confirmed that they would immediately move to other sites to continue maintenance work and connect electricity to the remaining areas of the state.
