
Member of the Transitional Sovereign Council Dr. Salma Abdelgabar Al-Mubarak met with a delegation from the Popular Commission for Supporting the Armed Forces, led by Engineer Anwar Al-Siddiq.
During the meeting, she received a comprehensive briefing on the commission’s objectives, programs, and projects implemented over the past two years in both military and civilian support. The delegation also presented the commission’s six-month action plan.
Dr. Abdelgabar praised the Sudanese people’s solidarity with the armed forces and supporting units in confronting the terrorist militia and its destructive agenda. She stressed the importance of sustaining grassroots efforts to support the military in eliminating the rebellion, repelling the aggression, restoring peace and stability, and launching reconstruction and development efforts.
She also pledged her full support for the commission’s upcoming programs.
For his part, the spokesperson of the Popular Commission for Supporting the Armed Forces, Dr. Hassan Ali Abbas, stated that the commission is one of the government’s arms supporting civil institutions, ministries, and official bodies, in addition to its backing of the armed forces across all battlefronts.
