A political committee assigned by the President of the Transitional Sovereign Council, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, has begun meetings with political parties, civil society organizations, and the popular resistance to discuss the formation of the transitional parliament.
Informed sources told the Muhaqiq news site that the political committee — composed of Sovereign Council members General Shams al-Din Kabashi, General Yasser al-Atta, and General Abdullah Yahya — has engaged in several consultative meetings to form the transitional parliament with the participation of the country’s political and societal forces.
