6th Infantry Division: “We Will Not Surrender the City Except Over Our Dead Bodies”

The 6th Infantry Division congratulated the Sudanese people on the significant victories achieved by the heroes of the Armed Forces and the Joint Force in the Darfur and Kordofan fronts.

It reassured citizens that their forces are fighting united in one trench with full coordination and pledged that not an inch of El Fasher would be surrendered.

The division stated that in El Fasher, they would neither bow nor break and are determined to achieve victory, God willing, fighting to the last breath. They declared the city would only be surrendered over their pure bodies.

In a press briefing, the 6th Division extended a special salute to its commander, Major General Mohamed Ahmed Al-Khidir Saleh, the deputy commander, and all leaders, officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers for their heroic efforts.

The division also proudly honored the heroes of El Fasher—the lions of the western front—who sacrificed their lives in defense of the city’s soil and immortalized their names in the book of honor.

The division renewed its salute to the Sudanese Armed Forces, the lions of the 6th Division, the Joint Force, the police, intelligence services, mobilized forces, and the popular resistance, considering them makers of the impossible and the pride of the nation.

It confirmed that El Fasher is not fighting alone and expressed its gratitude to the great Sudanese people, who have proven to be a strong pillar of support in facing challenges.

The 6th Division also urged all citizens in El Fasher to exercise caution at night and refrain from using lights to protect lives and property from enemy attacks.
