
The UN-appointed human rights expert for the situation in Sudan, Radhouane Nouicer, arrived in Sudan on Sunday.
He was received at Port Sudan Airport by Buthaina Mohamed Al-Tayeb, the representative of the National Mechanism for Human Rights at the Ministry of Justice, and Ambassador Bilal Qasimallah Al-Siddiq, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ representative to the mechanism. During his five-day official visit, he will hold several meetings with government officials and citizens affected by the war, and will also meet with the National Mechanism for Human Rights, which includes relevant government entities linked to the purpose of his visit.
