Sudanese-Russian Talks to Boost Cooperation in the Mining Sector

The Minister of Minerals, Nour Al-Daim Taha, received a delegation from the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which included investors interested in Sudan’s mining sector.

The meeting discussed the activation of agreements signed between Sudan and Russia, the removal of obstacles facing Russian companies, and the creation of strategic partnerships in rare minerals and the exploration of Sudan’s mineral resources using modern technologies.

Minister Taha emphasized that the visit of the Russian delegation at this sensitive time confirms the strength of bilateral relations, announcing the Ministry’s readiness to facilitate the entry of Russian investments with full transparency and openness.

The Russian delegation expressed a strong desire to expand into the Sudanese market and benefit from its vast potential in mining and exploration.
