U.S. President’s Africa Advisor, Masad Boulos, met with Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mohamed al-Khulaifi, to discuss ongoing efforts to address conflicts in Africa, with a focus on the Libyan crisis. The meeting took place in Washington, D.C.
Boulos tweeted: “I was honored to meet with the Qatari Minister of State in Washington. We discussed the importance of achieving lasting peace in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, as well as ongoing efforts to resolve the conflicts in Sudan, Libya, and the wider region.”
