The Emergency Committee of Abu Shouk camp for displaced persons has reported daily executions carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia against civilians in El Fasher who responded to calls by transitional council member El-Hadi Idris to evacuate the city.
Speaking to Ultra Sudan, Mohamed Khamis Doda, the media official at Zamzam camp, accused RSF of systematically killing those who heed evacuation appeals by El-Hadi Idris and Tahir Hajar.
“We do not know the exact number of those executed by the RSF, but they are targeting citizens based on ethnic identity,” Doda said.
He noted that many civilians have opted to remain in the city out of fear of being killed, despite suffering from extreme hunger and life-threatening disease.
