Transitional Sovereignty Council President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, visited the Sudan National Museum on Wednesday.
During the visit, he inspected the extent of the destruction inflicted on the museum by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), and reviewed the ongoing efforts to document the looted artifacts that were smuggled abroad, as well as the process of auditing museum records.
Al-Burhan directed the relevant authorities to provide all necessary support to facilitate efforts aimed at recovering the missing artifacts and restoring the museum.
