“Joint Forces” Reveal Details of the Fierce Battle for El Fasher

Colonel Ahmed Hussein Mustafa, spokesperson for the Joint Forces, disclosed details of the intense battle that took place in El Fasher on Monday, affirming that the army, popular resistance, and joint forces achieved “a victory that will be etched in history.”
Mustafa said in a statement that the battle was “very large,” during which the heroes of El Fasher scored a great victory against the Rapid Support Forces militia, their mercenaries, and allies.
He reported that the militias attacked El Fasher from three axes with approximately 543 combat vehicles, which had been prepared weeks earlier in the Zamzam IDP camp, seized by the militias and turned into a military barracks.
However, the heroes were fully prepared, bravely and sacrificially repelling the assault, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy in lives and equipment.
The spokesperson stated that 254 militia members were killed, 16 combat vehicles burned, and 34 others captured—including armored vehicles and two “SarSar” vehicles fully equipped—across the three axes.
He also pointed to the participation of fighters from the Tahir Hajer and Al-Hadi Idris movements in the offensive on El Fasher.
