The Joint Force of Armed Movements stated that the events in El Fasher constitute a foreign invasion, which they will confront with full force.
Colonel Ahmed Hussein Mustafa, the official spokesperson for the Joint Force, told Altra Sudan: “Relying on mercenaries to invade El Fasher on behalf of the RSF militia and its allies will change the course of resistance, making it fiercer than before.”
Mustafa added that the RSF, after losing its strength and suffering the deaths of most of its influential field leaders around the city, now depends on mercenaries from Colombia, Chad, Libya, the Central African Republic, South Sudan, and Ethiopia.
He emphasized that some of these mercenaries have been killed, while others continue to fight, as recent video footage shows. “A hired soldier cannot achieve his goal,” he said.
He concluded: “Just as the militia’s leaders and elements were eliminated, God willing, the mercenaries will be eliminated as well.”
