Local sources reported on Saturday that at least nine civilians were killed in a drone strike on a community gathering in Al-Tina town, North Darfur.
The strike, carried out by an RSF-operated strategic drone on Thursday, targeted local leaders and citizens, injuring five others and completely destroying the former UNAMID (UN-African Union Mission) headquarters in the town.
The attack raised serious concerns of a potential larger RSF offensive in the area, which remains the only corridor in Darfur outside RSF control.
