Resumption of Refugee Relocation from Khartoum to White Nile

Dr. Idris Abdullah Liman, Assistant Commissioner for Refugees in Khartoum, oversaw on Saturday the resumption of refugee relocation operations from Khartoum to White Nile State.

This initiative, part of efforts by the Ministry of Interior and the Police Force to regulate foreign presence in Sudan, involved coordination with the UN Refugee Agency and local security authorities.

Sixty-nine foreigners were transferred to refugee camps in White Nile. Liman stated that the relocations are part of ongoing state efforts to manage foreign populations, assuring that all relocated refugees receive necessary basic services.
