Clashes intensified on Friday between the Sudanese army and its allies against the RSF in West El Obeid, North Kordofan.
The army’s ongoing operations aim to advance into Darfur and lift the siege on El Fasher. According to sources cited by Sudan Tribune, the army and allied forces continued to push into West El Obeid, engaging in the fiercest confrontations in months in Abu Qoud and Umm Samima along the border with West Kordofan.
Pro-RSF platforms released videos showing the destruction of dozens of military vehicles and the capture of additional RSF equipment.
