The Sudan Doctors’ Network accused the Rapid Support Forces of killing 13 people in a reportedly ethnically motivated massacre along the El Fasher–Tawila road in North Darfur, including five children, four women, and four elderly.
In a statement, the network condemned the RSF’s actions as a new episode in a series of ethnic cleansing and mass atrocities against defenseless civilians in Darfur, in clear violation of international law. It highlighted the systematic targeting of children, women, and the elderly as evidence of an organized campaign of forced displacement along ethnic lines, describing it as a war crime and crime against humanity.
The network called on the international community and the UN Security Council to take immediate action to halt these acts of genocide and ethnic cleansing and to hold RSF leaders accountable.
